IRINA BOUBNOVSKAIA

IRINA

Started her dance training in Russia at the age of 5, and never looked back. In the early 90s Irina began competing in Russia and Europe winning many championships, and in 1996 she became youth Russian Champion. In 1998 Irina moved to New York and broke straight into US Latin Dance finals. She was the US National Amateur finalist for 6 years. After turning Professional, she quickly became the World Cup Rising Star Professional Champion and took third place in the world's largest ballroom dance competition - Blackpool Dance Festival. After many impressive achievements, Irina was requested to make a demonstration on the popular TV show Dancing With The Stars to perform with World Champion Louis Van Amstel. Shortly after that Irina joined the winter tour with Dancing With the Stars, traveling to 38 cities, summer tour to 24 cities, followed by the most recent "Dancing With The Stars Live in Las Vegas". ARTHUR

ARTHUR

Began dancing at the age of 7. From the first competition Arthur became Ballroom and Latin champion and during
his career he kept on winning the major championships including Youth Ukrainian Championship. Arthur appeared
on Ukrainian regional and national TV and in addition earned a degree in choreography at Kirovograd Pedagogical
University. He has trained with world renowned instructors, including spending numerous years training and competing around Europe. The enthusiasm that was evident in his demeanor captured the attention of his tutors, and he was invited to represent United States. At the age of 22, he turned to be a Professional Latin Dancer, received many top teacher awards for his hard work and dedication. As an internationally known Ballroom & Latin Professional Dancer, Arthur has an extensive experience as choreographer, performer, teacher and dance consultant.

Karolina

Karolina

Behind Karolina’s graceful presence on the dance floor, she is truly a person who is deeply devoted to the art of dance. Karolina is one of the most talented dancers on the dance floor today and her achievements are a testament to the fact that the combination of hard work and dedication is a recipe for success. Karolina has been perfecting her dancing for over 15 years. Originally Karolina started dancing in Toronto, Canada, where she was the Canadian Junior Latin & Ballroom Champion. At the young age of 15, she decided to take the next step in her dance career and move to New York City to train with the best coaches in the world. She quickly rose to the top of the ranks in a surprisingly young age, winning Youth US National Dancesport Championships and became the representatives to the World Championships in Spain. In the Adult Championship category, she has been undefeated in the United States and have won numerous championships including 2012 Blackpool Dance Festival in Rising Star Amateur Ballroom. Although Karolina is currently competing in the ballroom category she has extensive experience teaching in all styles of ballroom dancing including Standard, Latin, as well as social styles.
Luca and Krizia

Luca and Krizia

From Italy - a brother and sister team who are taking ballroom by storm! Luca and Krizia have been dancing together since they can remember. They were trained as International Standard dancers and have won prestigious titles all over the World, including 2004 Italian Champions & runners up in 2012 British National Ballroom Championship. They continue to have fantastic results, most recently placed third at the 2014 USA Dance National Championships. Luca and Krizia travel all over the world for competitions, teaching and shows. They give tuition at Ballroom Palace Dance Studio and train with the world's best coaches.

ANATOLII & RUSLANA

ANATOLII & RUSLANA

After dancing together for only three weeks, their partnership was formed. The two began to compete in Latin, Ballroom, and 10 Dance Championships all over the world. Their numerous titles include 7th place at the World Cup, Finalists at the Ukraine Championships, Finalists (5th) in the European Dance Sport Federation (EDSF) and became Ukrainian National multiple times medalists.

Anatoly and Ruslana are best known for their successful coaching career. They were traveling to many regions in Ukraine, sharing their knowledge and training couples increasing their level of dancing. The most significant achievements of their students include Second Place at the Junior Ukraine Championship, Eight place at the Junior Blackpool dance Festival, and a Grand final at the World Cup and European. One of their couples became European Senior Champions.

Ruslana is a real star quality! Before her dance career took off, Ruslana trained and competed in rhythmic gymnastics and achieved some outstanding results! She was Two-time Ukraine champion and was awarded a master of sports in Ukraine Rhythmic Gymnastic. Her ability and desire to set new goals led her to Ballroom and Latin dancing. With only a month of training, Ruslana took first place at her first competition in the junior category. Since then she was a finalist of major Ukrainian championships for several years, winning numerous titles including Ukrainian National multiple times medalists, 7th place at the World Cup, 5th place in the European Dance Sport Federation (EDSF) and many more.

Ruslana graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture in Fitness and Ballroom Dancing and in the following years entered the Kharkiv National University, where she got her masters degree with a major in psychology. Her successful dance career with Anatoly started 8 year ago.

Anatoly was recognized for his artistic ability at a young age and began his victorious career as a Ballroom Dancer in the Ukraine at 7 years old. As a competitor, Anatoly represented his country at the World and European Championships, and have won numerous titles in the styles of International Standard & Latin. Anatoly started teaching ballroom dancing when he was 16 years old. Thanks to his knowledge and professional way of transmitting his knowledge, his students achieved their goals and have taken many titles all over the world. Anatoly graduated from the Kharkov State Academy of Culture, majoring in choreography and performance, and has choreographed many show numbers and showcases for top professionals. Started his dance career with Ruslana 8 years ago.
Aleksandr & Maria

Aleksandr & Maria

Aleksandr started dancing at four years old and became a five time champion of Kyrgyz Republic. At a young age he became a champion of Central Asia and won numerous International Ballroom Dance Sport competitions. Alexander and Maria have been dancing together for 8 years. They began their careers in Central Asia, where they partnered and competed as amateurs in both the International Latin and Standard styles winning titles all over Europe, Russia and Central Asia. In 2009, they immigrated to the United States and soon became USA Professional Rising Star Champions. Together they were fortunate enough to train with the worlds most famous coaches and received multiple awards for the top instructors in major competitions and best studios around the US. Now at Ballroom Palace, they teach both International and American styles and proudly represent the US in all World Competitions.

Melanie

Melanie

Melanie was first introduced to partner dancing eigth years ago through country western. When she began her studies at The University of Texas at Austin, she was exposed to many other styles of partner dancing, including East and West Coast Swing, American Smooth, International Standard and Latin. She trained and competed in both International Standard and Latin for about a year before her passion for Latin made this exciting style of dance the focus of her life. She was the International Latin instructor for the university organization, Texas Ballroom, for two and a half years where she discovered her love of teaching and the joy of sharing her passion with others. After finishing her Bachelors degree at The University of Texas at Austin, she intensified her training and began to compete around the world. She was a vice-champion of the Dutch National Championships and attended the 2012 World Championships as Dutch Representatives, as well as Netherlands Bronze Medalists. In addition to competitive Latin, Melanie also enjoys show dance and performance opportunities. She has performed in numerous showcases and most recently was a guest performer on the Netherlands TV program, Strictly Come Dancing. Melanie is continuing her training and competitive career as a professional from the New York area. She aims to constantly progress in developing as a teacher, dancer, athlete and artist. Melanies highest objective is to share her inspiration with others through instruction, training, competition and performance.
Ivan

Ivan

Born in Samara, Russia, Ivan began dancing at age 5. Throughout his dancing career Ivan has trained with the renowned Latin and Standard coaches including Bill Irvine, and has captured renowned titles such as: Russian National Championships, Moscow, Russia; Champion, Blackpool Dance Festival, Blackpool, England; Semi-finalist, Birmingham Open, Birmingham, England; Champion Copenhagen Open, Copenhagen, Denmark; Finalist; Alassio Open, St. Petersburg, Russia; 8-time Champion Samara Open, Samara, Russia.

Maksim

Maksim

Is a professional ballroom dancer with over 15 years of dance and teaching experience and a finalist of the So You Think You Can Dance TV show. The 26-year-old was born in Moscow and has danced for as long as he can remember. Maksim came from a dancing family-his mother was a ballet teacher-his love and his vision in dance have inspired many of his students to compete and win in competitions. Throughout his dance career he has participated in many National and International dance competitions, placed first in a number of them. Currently, Maksim is actively competing with his professional dance partner in the International Latin division and has extensive training with the worlds best coaches. He also competes with students in Pro-Am competitions and takes pride in watching his students improve after his group and private lessons. Maksim also enjoys sculpting and playing the guitar.
